Why Remove a Background?
Transparent-background images are incredibly versatile. Use them to:

Step 1 — Upload Your Image
Open CapybaraLand and create a new design or open an existing one. Click Uploads in the left sidebar and drag your image onto the canvas, or click Upload Image to browse your files.
Step 2 — Click "Remove Background"
Select your image on the canvas. In the right panel you will see an Edit Image section. Click Remove Background. The AI will process your image in a few seconds and remove the background automatically.
Step 3 — Refine the Edges (Optional)
For complex images like hair or fur, use the Refine Edges brush to paint back any areas that were accidentally removed, or erase any leftover background patches.
Step 4 — Place on Your New Background
Once the background is removed, you can:
- Add a solid colour background rectangle behind your subject
- Place a gradient background
- Drop in a new photo as the background layer
- Export as PNG with transparent background if you want no background at all
💡 Pro tip: For the cleanest removal, start with an image where your subject has good contrast against the background (e.g. a person against a plain white or grey background).
Export Your Transparent PNG
Click Export → PNG and tick Transparent Background. Your image will download as a .png file with a transparent background, ready to use anywhere.
