🦫 Beginner's Guide to CapybaraLand — Everything You Need to Know
Welcome to CapybaraLand! If you are new here, this guide will walk you through everything — from the interface to exporting your first design. No design experience needed. We promise it's simpler than it looks.
What is CapybaraLand?
CapybaraLand is a free online design tool — like Canva, but without the paywalls. You can create social media posts, CVs, flyers, presentations, business cards, and more — all from your browser, for free.
The Interface — A Quick Tour
Toolbar (Left Side)
- 📝 Text — Add and edit text layers
- 🖼 Images — Upload your own or browse free stock photos
- 🔷 Shapes — Rectangles, circles, lines, and custom shapes
- 🎨 Background — Change canvas background colour or image
- 📐 Templates — Browse pre-made templates
- 🗂 Layers — View and reorder all design layers
Properties Panel (Right Side)
When you select any element, the right panel shows its properties: size, position, colour, font, opacity, effects, and more. Everything is context-sensitive — it changes based on what is selected.
Canvas (Centre)
The canvas is your design area. Drag elements onto it, resize with corner handles, and double-click text to edit it inline.
